Materials Needed
- Chenille yarn (3.5mm) in any color of your choice
- Cotton yarn for embroidery (black or dark brown)
- 2cm buttons (2pcs)
- Stitch markers, needle, scrissors
Crochet Abbreviations
The abbreviations are in US terminology!
- MR - magic ring
- ch - chain
- sc - single crochet
- inc - single crochet increase
- dec - single crochet decrease
- dc - double crochet
- hdc - half double crochet
- FLO - front loop only
- BLO - back loop only
- slst - slip stitch
- [number] - total stitches in each round
The Pouch
Rnd 1: 27ch, From the 2nd chain from the hook, 25sc, 3sc in 1st, 24sc, inc [54]
Rnd 2: 2ch, BLO 54hdc [54]
Rnds 3 - 8: 2ch, 54hdc [54]
- Leave a short yarn tail and cut it off
- Pull the yarn end to the back and weave it in (Watch this part of the tutorial to see how to finish off!)
The Flap
- 27 stitches between the two marked points
- Count 7 stitches to the left
- Count 7 stitches to the right
- 15 stitches apart
Row 1: 2ch, 15dc [15]
Row 2: 2ch, turn, 15dc [15]
Row 3: 2ch, turn, 2hdc, (2ch, skip 2st), 7hdc, (2ch, skip 2st), 2hdc, 2ch, slst
